By accessing or using our website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.

Services Description

zen-cedar provides culinary education services including cooking workshops, private events, and corporate team-building experiences. All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.

Booking and Payment

Reservations

All workshop bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop: Full refund
  • Cancellations made 3-6 days before the workshop: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours: Credit toward a future workshop
  • No-shows: No refund or credit

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to insufficient enrolment, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another session.

Workshop Participation

Age Requirements

Participants must be at least 16 years of age unless otherwise specified for specific workshops. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

Health and Safety

You are responsible for informing us of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions that may affect your participation. You participate in workshops at your own risk and must follow all safety instructions provided by our instructors.

Conduct

We expect all participants to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, offensive, or dangerous, without refund.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, recipes, and course materials, is the property of zen-cedar or our licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Photography and Media

We may take photographs or videos during workshops for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in our marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our staff before the workshop begins.

Liability

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, zen-cedar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service.
